Yup, Just what we needed. More civil forfeiture. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, this is where the government can grab your stuff and claim that it was used in the commission of a crime or was otherwise associated with criminal activity. Not a high burden of proof required for civil forfeiture. You don't get a jury trial because you aren't accused of anything. To get your stuff back, you have to hire a lawyer and sue.
It's a win/win for the agencies because they generally keep most of what they confiscate.
