Why Do We Need Higher Taxes on Anybody?

Government revenue as a percentage of GDP is 35%.  It was only higher four times, ever, all in the past fourteen years.

Actual revenue is as high as it's ever been.

We don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem.  If anything we need to lower taxes to stimulate economic activity, as well as cut spending dramatically to eliminate the deficit.
