Irish Democracy
I love the term. Apparently it means resisting authority, not by taking to the streets, but by just refusing to cooperate.

which is on my wish list (but which you can buy now from Amazon by clicking on the title, and Glenn Reynolds used it yesterday in his USA Today column on the resistance by ordinary Americans to a variety of government edicts.
