The secret to getting things done

I bought a book several months ago on getting things done.  Haven't read it yet.  I suspect that I have a problem.  Read this quote the other day in a John Ringo book The Last Centurion .

Do one thing every day that you don't have to do immediately and you don't want to do.

Makes sense to me.
