Music prices

Used to be that CDs were about ten bucks.  I get that digital is cheaper since there are no actual making costs above and beyond the artist and advertising.

So why is the new Corb Lund album $10 for the electronic version (where I have to trust Amazon to store my backup for me) and $20 for a hard copy.  Really?  Double?  $20 for a CD?  Is that really a reasonable price or are they trying to discourage us from buying the hard copy so they don't have to make them anymore?
