Interesting case discussed over at No Lawyers - Only Guns and Money
Basically a man indicted for felony bought a gun, was charged and convicted, and is appealing based on the Bruen decision. I'll skip the details, you can browse on over to the link above for a bit more, but there was one thing that struck me:
"The government argued that the Second Amendment only covers possession and carrying with everything else is outside this."
My first thought, as I commented there, was that the government’s argument seems to suggest that while you have the right to keep and bear, you don’t have the right to acquire.
