We also read Winnie the Pooh and Peter Rabbit to our kids. Are we lying about talking bears, toys that come to life, talking rabbits? Or is it called using our imagination? I believe it was only recently that the idea that saying there was a Santa Claus was considered lying to kids, and I don't know a single person whose life has been materially altered for the worse by thinking there was a Santa Claus for the first five or ten years of their lives.
