Nice (lack of) doodle, Google

Thought they were an American company.

So far this year they have celebrated Philippines Independence Day, Russia Day, Dia Dos Namorados, Johanne Gottfried Galle's Birthday, Sweden National Day, the Queen's Jubilee, Republic Day Italy, Francisco Pascasio Moreno's Birthday, Peter Karl Fabio's Birthday, Ruby Payne-Scott's Birthday, the Golden Gate Bridge, Rafael Escalona's Birthday, Jordan Independence Day, Robert Moog's Birthday, Egyptian Elections, Turkish Youth Week, ...

...wow, I'm getting tired of typing all the things they've celebrated..

Apparently, however, they couldn't come up with anything clever for Flag Day.

I thought they were an American company.

Maybe I was mistaken.

We have lots of stupid hollidays and days that are just declaired by one group or another.

I wouldn't give a rat's ass for Flag day or any other day where mindless idolotry (as opposed to the other kind) is a central theme.

As usual, you have all sorts of useful insights. I guess my point is that they seem to find time to celebrate virtually everything else under the sun, but can't take the 3 seconds it takes the doodle guy to throw an American flag up. Not like they don't find time to celebrate hundreds of other meaningless days.
