How is that I, growing up with a best friend of the Clan Donald clan, never heard of the Massacre of Glencoe. Not once did I ever hear anyone of the Campbell surname referred to as "those murdering Campbells". Probably just as well since our neighbors were Campbells, but I'm feeling like my friends perhaps were not educated as well as they might have been in their heritage. What ever happened to a bit of clan pride and animosity?
