To bad for those poor anti-war folks. If only they had known that Afghanistan had a trillion dollars worth of lithium buried in its desert ground, they could have opposed this war, chanting "No war for big lithium". Doesn't have quite the ring as "No war for oil", probably since the average person doesn't know what we use Lithium for, but a little research would have shown that one use is to make the iPad batteries all those OWSers were carrying around.
"No war for big battery" perhaps? "No war for computers that last longer"?
Hopefully someone will discover a major resource in Syria in time to ramp up the protests and stop our involvement before our soldiers start getting killed for no good reason. So far, the anti-war crowd has been pretty quiet. Couldn't be because one of theirs is in power so must be lack of good slogans.
