More notes on the shutdown: Kicked out of their private homes

Privately owned homes on federal land, the federal government gave them 24 hours to get out and stay out until the shutdown is over.

Update: Just a quick note, but various sources are making the argument that the golf course at Andrews Air Force Base (the President's home course) is open because it is funded by user fees and doesn't require government funding.  They won't, of course comment on why private homes and privately run businesses are being barricaded and manned by park police to keep people out.
