New York City just voted that you can't use an e-cigarette in public because it "looks to much like smoking". No smoke, no tobacco, no tar, no cancer causing anythings but it looks like smoking.

As Mayor Bloomberg explained it me the other day, he has solved all other New York problems, so he has plenty of time to dream up -- and money to enforce --new lifestyle enhancements for his subjects.
This was a vote by the city council. Bloomberg has apparently ensured that his legacy will live on by replacing the council with fraternal clones.
