From CNN, Kate Brown will make history on Wednesday when she is sworn in as Oregon's next governor and becomes the first openly bisexual governor in the country.
Who cares? Is her job to have sex with men and women? No, her job is to run Oregon, hopefully less corruptly than Kitzhaber, the former governor who just stepped down. Why on earth the story has to open with who she sleeps with is beyond me.
Oh, and at the end of the article is this gem:
It's possible she'll face challenges from inside her party, like Tina Kotek, Oregon's openly gay House speaker.
The horror. Who will the progressives vote for, the bisexual or the gay? Maybe instead they will focus on policy and qualifications. Wouldn't that be a step in the right direction.
