I'm down in San Diego surfing. Drove down right after Christmas and took a lesson Sunday morning from the guys at San Diego Surf School. Today (Monday) I went back and rented a board, although I ran out of steam after about an hour. My legs and arms are wobbly as I am in shape, but not in surfing shape. I had the absolute best time, the instructor was outstanding, and I don't think I could have enjoyed myself more.
Can't say enough nice things about them so decided to plug them here on the blog. If you are in San Diego and thinking about taking a surf lesson, give them a call. I don't get a commission or kickback from this but tell them that Calvin from Washington state sent you, just so they know they did a good job.
