Gun raffle time

Combat Veterans International.  IRS 501c19 Veteran's non-profit.  Registered Washington State corporation and charity.  Raffling off a Glock.

GLOCK 19 9MM 3RD GEN OD GREEN
(Glock 19 9mm 3rd generation pictured)

You heard right.  Your choice of a 9mm or 40 (that translates to 17, 19, 22, or 23 in Glockspeak).

Tickets are $5, we are only selling 500 tickets and the drawing will be on December 31, 2014 unless we sell out earlier, in which case we will draw the winner immediately.

You have to be able to pass an FFL background check to win and you will be responsible for shipping if you live out of area.

Email me at chapter1atcombatveteransdotcom if you would like tickets and I'll set them aside for you.  I can either mail you your stubs or scan them and send you a picture.

Win a gun, support veterans

Yup.  Raffle time again.  This time we are going a little more low key than a Harley Davidson.

Springfield Armory XD(M) in your choice of:

  • 9mm compact
  • 9mm service
  • .40 cal compact
  • .40 cal service
  • .45 cal compact
Yes, that's right. Your choice.  Hey, we are going to provide the gun and FFL transfer services.  If you don't live locally you'll have to pay to have it shipped to your FFL dealer but still, $5 for a very nice gun isn't something you should pass up.

Oh, and the proceeds all go to help veterans in our local area.  Some of the stuff we've done:
  •  housing for local homeless veterans through Bridge of Hope House
  • short term assistance for utility bills, gas cards, groceries through our Veterans Assistance Fund
  • scholarships for college to the children of veterans through the Combat Veterans International Chapter 1 Scholarship Fund
  • ramps for wheelchair bound veterans
  • hunting programs for disabled veterans through donations to Hunting for Heroes and Wounded Warriors in Action Project
We are an IRS 501c(19) veteran's non-profit, tax ID number 91-1933088 and we are a registered non-profit corporation and charity through the State of Washington if you want to check us out.

If you want tickets, send me an email at here_so_long_at_gmail_dot_com (removing all the underscores and translating at and dot as appropriate to avoid spammers).  I'll set the number of tickets that you want aside and you can mail me a check or MO.  When I get your payment I can either mail you the stubs or email you a scan (your choice).

The drawing will either be on September 28, 2014 or as soon as we sell all the tickets, whichever comes first.

PS A very important point: You have to be able to pass a background check.  The prize will not be awarded to someone who can't pass a background check in their own name (no family or friends) and there will be no substitutions.  If you don't pass the background check we will draw another ticket.  Thanks.

Help veterans AND win a Harley?

You betcha.  Best of both worlds. All the money we raise goes to help veterans in the Pacific Northwest.  The bike, well, the bike is spectacular.  Here, look at this, then I'll tell you more.

So here's the deal.  You win a 2012 Harley Davidson FXDWG Wide Glide with factory custom flame paint, fuel injection, and security system, as well as tax, title, and license.

Tickets are $5.

We are selling 15,000 tickets, max.

The drawing will be in September at the Oyster Run in Anacortes.  You don't have to be there to win the bike. We are a veterans non-profit organization (501c19) and registered with the state of Washington as a non-profit and a gambling license holder.

If you want tickets, send me an email and I'll give you a mailing address.  Once I get your check I'll either mail you the tickets stubs or email you a scan (your choice).

Thanks in advance.
